Fear of Entrapment

Fear of entrapment

I’ve felt this in school

I’ve felt this in toxic relations

Maybe it’s self-imposed

Just all in my head

There’s lots to be scared of

The greatest of which

To be stuck with wings

bound.

When at school it’s as if I’m a

Tiger in quicksand.

Here at Airy Knoll it’s as if I’m a

Hawk at flight training camp.

May these fears of entrapment

Fade to black as now is the

Time to enter the void

With blind faith

Brother.
